- The Hotel Abi d'Oru, which translates as "golden bee" in Sardinian, has been offering five-star relaxation and happy memories since 1963. The hotel offers a luxury service that is characterised by a distinctive Sardinian style of warm hospitality.
- The hotel's distinctive hexagonal pavilions offer accommodation options include 124 Deluxe Rooms, 15 Junior Suites, 10 Family Deluxe Rooms, 4 Deluxe Suites, 4 Premium Suites and 2 Signature Suites, many of which have been recently renovated.
- With three restaurants and three bars, the Abi d'Oru is a renowned gourmet destination offering high-quality cuisine based on the best locally-sourced ingredients, as well as enchanting views of the Gulf of Marinella.
- Furthermore, the hotel offers the Bee Happy Kids Club, a dedicated space for children to enjoy themselves. A dedicated space for children, where they can socialise, play and engage in creative activities under the guidance of trusted professionals.

- DBL Superior
Room size: 25-32 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 3 adl
The Superior rooms decorated with typical Sardinian style are 25 to 28 sqm and can be equipped with a double bed or two single beds. They located pool-side and feature a private balcony or patio on the ground floor. Some of the rooms can accommodate a third bed or a cot, subject to availability. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar, safe, beach towels, and bathrobes.
- Family Classic
Room size: 52 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 3 adl
Family Classic rooms (non refurbished recently) are around 52m2 and are composed of a large bedroom with bathroom and an independent living area with a double sofa bed (140×180) and a second bathroom with a shower. Family Classics enjoy a terrace overlooking the.
- Deluxe Room
Room size: 28-32 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 3 adl
The Deluxe rooms are 28 to 30m2 and have a private balcony with a sea view.They are furnished with either a double bed or two single beds and come equipped with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar, safe, beach towels and bathrobes.
- Garden Deluxe
Room size: 35-40 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 3 adl
The Garden Deluxe rooms are elegant and private, with direct access to the beach from the garden.
These rooms range from 35 to 40m2 and are furnished with either a double bed or two single beds. Some rooms also feature an armchair or a sofa bed, which can accommodate a third guest. Please note that the sea-view may be limited due to the surrounding vegetation and the room's position.
- Junior Suite
Room size: 45-55 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 4 adl
Featuring Mediterranean style decor which highlights traditional local materials and tones, the open-plan layouts vary from 45 to 55 sqm and include a bedroom and small living area. The terrace offers chairs and a coffee table from which to enjoy sea or partial sea view. Cot or extra bed available on request.
- Deluxe Suite
Room size: 52 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 4 adl
Deluxe Suite are composed of a bedroom, a walk-in closet, one bathroom and a separete living room with a sofa bed. They cover a total area of around 82 sqm where 52 sqm are indoor and around 30 sqm are dedicated to either a patio with garden view or a private terrace with partial sea view. The suites can accommodate up to 4 guests.
- Premium Suite
Room size: 52 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 4 adl
The Premium Suites have a surface area of approximately 98sqm, of which 52 sqm are occupied by a bedroom, a living area with a sofa bed that can be converted into 2 single beds (80cm x 190cm) and 2 bathrooms. The remaining 46sqm are occupied by a superb terrace that overlooks Gulf of Marinella. The suite can accommodate up to four people.
- Signature Suite Grazia & Eleonora
Room size: 100 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 4 adl
These Signature Suites are about 100 sqm and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a bath or shower, and a living room opening onto a terrace overlooking the bay. Breakfast for Signature Suite guests is served in a reserved area of the restaurant, from a special à la carte menu. Beach: choice of 2 complimentary water’s edge sun loungers with umbrella or Beach Gazebo in the 8th row. Beach towels included.

- Mediterraneo Restaurant
Breakfast: local sweets, fresh squeezed juices, smoothies and blended fruit and vegetable drinks accompany a selection of freshly prepared breakfasts with eggs, cold cuts and local cheeses. Dinner: enjoy traditional Mediterranean dishes and choose from the specialties of the day prepared by the chefs in the open kitchen.
- Marinella Restaurant
Seafood restaurant located by the water's edge. During the day, a menu of light and quick dishes is offered, including local fish specialities, grilled shellfish and raw delicacies to be eaten barefoot on the sand. As evening comes on and candlelight takes on a violet hue, the Marinella Restaurant becomes the perfect setting for a gourmet dinner on the beach.
- Tzia Maria Restaurant-Pizzeria
This restaurant, which opens onto the hotel gardens, offers a tasting menu encompassing all the best-known Sardinian recipes such as the famous “zuppa gallurese”, roast suckling pig, “seadas” desserts and traditional festive sweets. The sommelier will guide you through the wine cellar, where the island’s top labels are conserved and matured.
- Lobby & Terrace Bar
The Lobby Bar, in the hall, has the classic piano bar atmosphere of large hotels. Every evening the Lobby Bar is an opportunity for meeting open to guests and outsiders.
- Marinella Lounge Bar
The Beach Bar which come with a refreshment service that is much appreciated during the hottest hours. Before sunset, enjoy cocktails and lounge music with your feet in the water.
- Pool Bar
Hotel Abi d’Oru's pool bar serves a variety of refreshing drinks and snacks, including smoothies, aperitifs, fruit slices, and ice cream, to guests relaxing on the poolside decks or lawn.
Beach
- Marinella beach, one of the most beautiful in Sardinia, lies just beyond the garden, the pool and the natural pond.
- The beach has 7 rows of loungers and 8 Beach Gazebos. All guests have access to 2 sun loungers with an umbrella from the 3rd to the 7th rows, subject to availability. Umbrellas and sunbeds in the 1st and 2nd rows are included with certain suites. Beach towels are included and are available directly on the beach.
- Pets are not permitted on the beach. The beach hosts a diving, sailing and surfing school, while canoes, stand-up paddle boards, RIBs, jet skis and various types of boat are available for hire (booking required).
- The Marinella Restaurant offers guests everything they need to savour to the full the delights of a long day spent on the beach.
Kids & Teens
- “Bee Happy” Kids Club
An area dedicated to ensuring the littlest guests have a great time. Water games, group games, recreational and sporting activities keep children entertained from morning to evening, making their holiday unforgettable.
- Little Ones
A babysitting service is available with a supplement, on request for children of all ages, throughout the day. A nursery service is available, with a supplement for families with children under 4 years of age.
- Pool And Beach
Children have a Water Park with their own dedicated swimming pool, where they are always supervised by the Bee Happy Kids Club team. The beach is their playground, where everyone can have fun together while older guests relax in peace.
- Activities
Children can have fun on the slide, swing, tower or with a host of activities organized by our dedicated team. Teenagers can meet up over table football and table tennis, play tennis and soccer, or practice water sports in collaboration with top windsurfing, catamaran, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding and canoeing schools.
Spa & Wellness
- Abi SPA
Access to the spa, the relaxation area with Himalayan salt wall and the wet area – with a sauna, Turkish bath, sensory showers and an ice waterfall – is upon reservation only.
- Private SPA
The Private Spa is a space for exclusive use a sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, loungers and couples massage treatments.
Weddings & Events
- Weddings are very special celebrations in the Sardinian culture. For ceremonies on the beach the hotel Abi d’Oru invites groups in traditional Sardinian costume to attend. and polyphonic choirs to make your ceremony unique and unforgettable.
