- The Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées & SPA is situated in Stresa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It combines sumptuous elegance and tradition with the charm of Italian luxury Grand Hotels. The lounges are furnished in opulent shades of blue, purple, and gold, while the magnificent suites offer a blend of luxury and state-of-the-art comforts. Des Iles SPA is the right place to indulge in relaxation and well-being.

- Attic Room
Room size: 16-18 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 2 adl
The attic rooms are located in the two large domes built in 1911; guests can access these rooms from the 6th floor via a short staircase. Offering the same comforts, the attic rooms are on average smaller than the standard hotel rooms, and in some cases you have to climb a few steps to look out of the dormer windows, with views of either the islands or the rooftops.
- Garden View Room
Room size: 20-22 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 4 adl
Garden view rooms are comfortable, elegant and particularly quiet. Garden view rooms overlook the hotel's lush park and most have a balcony. All rooms have either a king size bed or two single beds; the bathrooms are decorated with multicoloured marble, have two washbasins and a whirlpool bath.
- Lake View Room
Room size: 22-24 sq. m / Maximum accommodation: 4 adl
Lake view rooms provide comfort, space and an unrivalled view on one of the most beautiful lakes of Italy. All rooms have either one king or two twin beds, the bathrooms are decorated with multicoloured marbles, they have two washbasins and whirlpool bath-tub.

- Il Borromeo Restaurant
Planning a lunch or dinner at Il Borromeo is the opportunity to explore a classically avant-garde cuisine. Since 2001 restaurant has been a member of the AIC project: “Gluten-free eating out” and we offer a very high level Gluten Free menu. Also open to non-resident guests at the hotel.
- Le Bistrot
Open-air Snack Bar for lunches, delicious snacks or italian style aperitifs surrounded by the beauty of our pools. Also open to non-resident guests of the hotel. Open in the summer season.
- Hemingway Bar
The perfect place to enjoy a drink, exactly where the famous writer E. Hemingway drank. Enjoy delicious aperitifs, after-dinner cocktails, light snacks and a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions. Open to non-resident guests of the hotel.
The Pools in the Park
- Completely renovated between 2019 and 2021, during the summer months, residents of the Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromées can access the green area “Le Piscine nel Parco”. Large naturalistic swimming pool for swimming and relaxing on the shore with water games, swimming pool with diving board, hydromassage beds, waterfalls, neck massage and phlebological path.

Oasis Pavilion SPA has pool in & out, with whirlpool beds, Thousand Bubbles area, waterfalls for neck massage; ice shower, music pool, Kneipp path, Paradise path of experience showers, Blue Artic and Orange Tropic Showers, sauna, steam room, Hammam, snow cabin.
